Four series of Clarkson’s Farm have already aired, with a fifth series finished and expected to land in spring, likely April or May. Now, with series five in the can, it is being reported that Amazon Prime Video has approved series six as well.
Clarkson, 65, is said to have started working on series six after the weather turned colder in January, which is exactly the sort of wonderfully unglamorous timeline that suits this show.
Clarkson himself has also been pretty blunt about the reality of it all. Speaking to The Sun, he said: “We’ve never had a rest, we wrap a series and immediately start again because farming doesn’t stop.” He added: “You harvest and you’re immediately start drilling for the next year.”
Jeremy Clarkson’s “break from TV” never really applied to the farm
In December 2025, Clarkson said he would be taking a break from TV in early 2026 for the first time in 40 years. But, in very Clarkson fashion, even that came with a caveat.
As he told The Sun: “So, but this time Kaleb’s gone off to Australia, he’s filming down there at the moment, I was doing Millionaire Hot Seat and I really wanted to have a holiday because I haven’t had one in ages.
“So we just said, ‘OK well let’s just actually wrap it.’ And then I just said, ‘If it snows we’ll start filming again’.”
