Jeremy Clarkson Asks Jeff Bezos To Continue Clarkson’s Farm After Ex-CEO Travels To Space

Fans were disappointed when it was revealed that Jeremy Clarkson’s new and highly praised show Clarkson’s Farm wasn’t continuing for a second season. But now the Grand Tour presenter Jeremy reached out to ex-amazon CEO Jeff Bezos himself to push for what both him and fans want.

The ex-Top Gear presenter tweeted to Bezos, beginning with a congratulations on going to space in his own ship alongside Mark Bezos, his brother, Wally Funk, an 82-year-old pioneer of the space race, and an 18-year-old student.

Well done @JeffBezos really well done,” he posted. “Can I do my farming show now?”

This comes after weeks of confusion between fans, news outlets, and companies such as DriveTribe as we all wrestle with the facts and fiction behind the second season of Clarkson’s famous farming show.

So What’s Going On?

Initially, it was revealed that Season 2 of Clarkson’s Farm had been confirmed, with even DriveTribe, a company partly owned by Clarkson, publishing an official statement confirming it. But this was quickly quelled when Jeremy posted the following to Twitter:

“Dear everyone. There has been some speculation that a second series of our farming programme has been commissioned. It hasn’t but we are hopeful.”

Soon after, Jeremy replied to a fan asking whether they were still planning a second season. The fan asked the following:

“Can you confirm If the rumours are true that they are shooting series 2?!”

Clarkson was quick to respond with some sad news:

“No. We aren’t,” he replied. “Write to Amazon, it’s their decision.”

So far, we know that a second season isn’t planned. But while Jeremy teased the upcoming episode of The Grand Tour, aptly named Lochdown, he teased a second bit of good news for fans. This could be news about a second season, but this is purely speculation. We’ll very much be looking forward to hearing what Jeremy has to say later this week.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
