Will Mellor, an actor from the popular show Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, has spoken out on Jeremy Clarkson on the Two Pints with Will and Ralf podcast as their conversation turned to that of the Cotswolds – where Diddly Squat Farm is located and Clarkson’s Farm was filmed.
Ralf, one half of the podcast, talked about the times he used to drive around the area in a Ford Transit when he was younger, but the conversation quickly moved to The Grand Tour presenter.
On bringing up the Cotswolds, Will’s mind quickly moved to Clarkson and his farm shop, before calling him out:
“Cotswolds! That’s where the farm shop is, isn’t it?
“What’s it called? Thingy. D***head from Top Gear. Used to be on Top Gear.”
Ralf responded: “D***head from Top Gear! I knew who you meant.”
Exactly! Bing, bing, bing! Answer!” Will laughed.
Despite calling out the presenter as a “d***head”, this was followed with compliments towards his show Clarkson’s Farm.
Will said:
“He’s got the farm series, which is actually quite good.
“I think he owns loads of land, and I think that’s in the Cotswolds.”
A second season of Clarkson’s Farm is currently being worked on with fans hopefully being able to watch it later this year. But despite the show’s huge success, Jeremy is still struggling with planning permissions for his land as he fights with the council to build a restaurant on the land.
More recently, the presenter started two businesses with his partner Lisa Hogan called ‘Curdle Hill Juice’ and ‘Curdle Hill Wholesale’. It’s unknown as to what these businesses will be doing, but it’s likely they’ll be selling produce from Jeremy’s farm.
Will who? Seriously–never heard of him.
