Jeremy Clarkson: Clarkson’s Farm Nominated For TV Award – Vote Here
Jeremy Clarkson’s latest series, Clarkson’s Farm, has been nominated for a TV Times Award, and fortunately, fans are able to vote to help The Grand Tour presenter as the farming series taken on the likes of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK and Disney’s Loki.
The Crown and Bridgerton are also up for the award, with it covering on-demand series.
Clarkson’s Farm has been highly praised after its release earlier this year, and has in fact become one of the most praised series to ever be published to Amazon Prime Video. The series follows the challenges Jeremy faces as he tried to build a successful farming business, stretching from raising lambs to growing, harvesting, and selling crops.
Diddly Squat and its on-site Farm Shop have now become a tourist attraction for thousands of fans who have since flocked to the Chadlington area to meet the man himself, and while locals have complained about the increase in traffic and dangerous driving, Jeremy is now looking to build a restaurant out of an old lambing shed.
This comes shortly after he held a meeting with locals to discuss the future of the business:
“It was a (mostly) polite battle between the red-tractor movement and the red trousers and I think I did quite well,” he said. “Certainly they didn’t make a wicker man of me afterwards. Maybe that’s why some people call me Boutros Boutros-Clarkson.”
He’s now revealed that the next challenge comes in the form of getting planning permission for the building, before asking for an experienced person to help run it:
“I have all the ingredients I need for my new restaurant but no clue how they might be turned into stuff that people might want to put in their mouths.
“So is there anyone old out there who knows how to run such an establishment?”
This will likely be seen in Series 2 of the popular series, but before this is released next year, go and cast a vote for your favourite show by clicking here.
The vote closes on October 15, so get in fast.
