Jeremy Clarkson Returns With Traditional A-Level Tweet
Jeremy Clarkson may have done badly on his A-levels, but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t been incredibly successful. He points this out every year in what is now a traditional A-level tweet from The Grand Tour presenter as he tries to raise the spirits of those collecting their results in the UK.
Over the last few years, he’s been presenting two of the most successful shows ever to see the likes of Amazon Prime Video, The Grand Tour and Clarkson’s Farm. Alongside this, he’s rebooted the quiz show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire with huge success, and his successful farm and farming shop has made the surrounding area’s property prices rocket.
There may be nothing his “pure genius” cannot do. And to solidify this, he posted the following to Twitter:
“If the teachers didn’t give you the A level results you were hoping for, don’t worry. I got a C and 2Us and I’ve ended up happy, with loads of friends and a Bentley.”

His previous tweets have been equally as good:
Our personal favourite is from 2016:
“If your A level results are disappointing, don’t worry. I got a C and two Us, and I’m currently on a superyacht in the Med.”
Even James May joined in on the fun:
“My A-Level results weren’t great, but hey: someone brought me tea and toast this morning, and even Croesus didn’t get that.”

Richard Hammond is yet to join in, but as he’s not overly good at this whole social media stuff, we might be waiting a long time…
Best of luck to all the students picking up their results today!
