Jeremy Clarkson Reveals Details On The Grand Tour Scotland Special

The Grand Tour has received positive reviews for its trek across the daunting roads of Madagascar in its latest special A Massive Hunt, and now fans can look forward to another as rumours of a Scotland special are rising.

Jeremy Clarkson has been very open on their Scottish adventures so far, posting to his Instagram several photos of him alongside fellow presenters Richard Hammond and James May.

Now, in a recent interview with Express.co.uk, he’s given even more details about the UK-based trip, admitting that the episode will be a 60 minute special that will follow them from Edinburgh to the Outer Hebrides.

This is brilliant news for fans who enjoyed the two episodes of Season 4, but are still wanting for more after only two episodes were released in the timeframe of just slightly more than a year. The Madagascar Special that was published to Amazon Prime Video saw the trio searching for hidden pirate treasure, with the episode harking back to fans’ favourite Top Gear episodes, so there’s no surprise that fans are aching for more.

Thankfully, it’s looking like we won’t have to wait too long before the next special comes out, with it being filmed earlier this year. On being asked about this, Jeremy replied:

“Well, we have just done a big show here in the UK, so that answers that one.”

The trio was spotted driving through Scotland in three classic American cars.

“We’ve just been to the Outer Hebrides, it’s not a 90 minute special but a 60 minute one,” he admits while sharing his annoyance with the pandemic.

“In some ways it makes me a bit annoyed because I’ve got so little of the world left to see and I’m not getting round and seeing it.

“I would love to be in Zimbabwe right now, or Iran, or any other handful of countries I haven’t been to and ticking them all off. But, I’m not.”

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
