Jeremy Clarkson Reveals How He Thinks Viewers Will React To New Farming Show ‘Clarkson’s Farm’
The trailer to Jeremy Clarkson’s new farming show, Clarkson’s Farm was released last Friday, and it’s fair to say that it looks incredible from this alone. Fans were over the moon to see something of this level of quality from Clarkson in between Grand Tour episodes, and some are simply excited to see new content from the presenter, whatever it may be.
In an interview with DriveTribe, he told Mike Fernie exactly how he expects fans to react to the Amazon Prime show, while also hinting at what to expect from the new Grand Tour Scotland Special. It’s fair to say his experiences already on Diddly Squat Farm have been that of a challenging nature, but we are more than ready to dig into the action with him.
“Farm show’s done,” he said. “I’m looking forward to people’s reaction to that because it’s like nothing I’ve done before.
“It’s genteel, it’s quiet, nobody falls over, nobody catches fire, nobody explodes… It’s a quiet genteel look at how farming is done and how I react to it.
“It’s a nice program I think,” Clarkson declares. “I think people will go, ‘that’s a nice program’, and there’s some amazing facts about farming in it which is,” he ends while shrugging to Mike.
The conversation quickly moves to where they talk about the upcoming Grand Tour special that was filmed in Scotland and the Hebrides islands.
“I’d say it’s Clarkson, Hammond and May ‘Unplugged’,” Clarkson tells Mike. “So because we’re not abroad, because we’re not dealing with extreme heat or extreme cold or extreme terrain really. It’s like us three are doing what we did do years and years and years ago, where we’re sort of in England, well, it’s not England it’s Scotland, but in Britain, and it’s a bit cold and it rains a lot.”
