Jeremy Clarkson Reveals The Price Of His First Major Clarkson’s Farm Purchase

As fans saw during the final episode of Clarkson’s Farm, Jeremy Clarkson made very little from his Diddly Squat farming business – hence the name. In fact, he only made a total of £144 after the countless expenses of the year. One purchase, his large Lamborghini tractor, was often joked about during the series. Often named a large, expensive, and useless purchase from his team, Jeremy has now revealed how much the Lamborghini cost, and it’s less than fans expected.

In a recent tweet about the BBC’s attempt at copying Clarkson’s Farm, the Grand Tour presenter was asked about his tractor.

Joking about the lack of BBC budget, one fan posted the following:

“Hahaha there’s only one Clarkson’s farm, not convinced BBC have the budget for a lambo tractor either!” (sic)

Jeremy quickly responded, admitting that the Lamborghini wasn’t quite as expensive as fans expected:

“The Lambo was £40,000, a third of what a normal new tractor would cost.”

In England, even a 2019 John Deere 6155R costs £85,000, more than double the cost of the Lamborghini R8 270 DCR which Jeremy drives during Clarkson’s Farm. Jeremy told Farmers Guide the following in regards to his tractor:

“I’ve never been terrified at 25mph before, but in that tractor I really was.”

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: alex@grandtournation.com
