Jeremy Clarkson’s Christmas Day Tweet with Special Message for Some in Argentina

Just a few months ago, Jeremy Clarkson was denied boarding onto a flight in Germany because of what happened in Argentina in 2014.

In what turned out to be Clarkson’s final Christmas special for Top Gear, the team famously went into Argentina and was accused of stirring up bad memories from the Falkland Invasions of 1982 by driving a Porsche with the license plate “H982 FKL.”

The cast and crew were attacked to the point Jeremy Clarkson said the following:

“I’ve been to Iraq and Afghanistan but this was the most terrifying thing I’ve ever been involved in.” – Clarkson via Telegraph

There are many versions of the story, but at the end of the day, Jeremy Clarkson left scarred from that trip and his love for Argentina can easily be figured out, especially with his special Christmas tweet:

It’s pretty much safe to say that The Grand Tour will probably never venture that south again.
