New Porsche 911 Turbo S Autobahn Top Speed Test Video

There’s nothing quite like a 313 km/h cruise in a Porsche 911 Turbo S to calm the nerves, or so I hear. Unfortunately, we don’t all live close to the Autobahn, or have €294,100 to spend on a new 2021 992 Cabriolet.

For my fellow Americans, that’s 194 mph and $332,237.42. As if that makes it any more understandable.

Well, luckily Hart voor Autos took their Porsche down the Autobahn to see how fast they could go. Not only does their video have the fantastic audio of the 3.8L six-cylinder howling as it pushes out 650 horsepower, it also has some nice windmills.

If there weren’t so many trucks and slower moving traffic, perhaps they could’ve shown off more of the 911’s 2.7 0-100 km/h top speed (0-62 mph). Not only that, but they could’ve pushed it the extra 27 km/h to its 330 km/h (205 mph) top speed.

Until we get our millions, it will just have to be enough that we watch these kinds of videos. Maybe we could all book a group trip to Germany and rent a Porsche 911 Turbo S at a discount rate.

It’s really amazing how it just swoops up to 200 mph like that. The first time I watched the video, I missed it, and had to go back to the beginning to spot the moment it tops out.
