The Grand Tour Episode 12 Social Media Reactions – Luxury SUV Showdown
And here we are, at the tail end of the first season of The Grand Tour. One more week and we’ll have nothing to watch except The Grand Tour and old Top Gear reruns. It almost brings a tear to my eye. Of course in this week’s episode, there were some more animal shenanigans that is sure to offend large groups of people, so I’m certain social media should be an entertaining read for the next few days. I’m going to miss this.
This week we got a good look at the Nissan GTR of animals, a look at the Lexus GS F, an excellent Conversation Street intro, some arguing over the existence of the Loch Ness monster, and a topic that makes me unnaturally angry every time I have to acknowledge its existence; the luxury SUV. In James’ own words: “It’s not an off-roader; it’s not an SUV.” Harumph. It’s a large sedan wearing a SUV skin; basically it’s a poser…except the Range Rover. Ok, I’m done now.
