The Grand Tour Special: Watch The Drag Race On The Most Expensive Piece Of Tarmac In The World

The Grand Tour Madagascar Special known as A Massive Hunt has gone down a treat with fans. But for those of you who are yet to see it, the good men and women behind the show have give you a short part of thee film to feast your eyes on over the Christmas holidays. It takes place on Reunion Island, as Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May line up to take part in a drag race on the most expensive piece of tarmac in the world.

This “engineering masterpiece” cost £112 million per kilometre, of which it is 12. This road wraps around the coast of Reunion, and the trio got to perform a drag race on it before it has even been opened to the public.
