Top Gear Spotted Filming In Cornwall With Three Classic Cars For Very Special Episode
Top Gear looks like it’s setting itself up for another series with the crew being spotted in Devon and Cornwall with three classic cars. And this is something very special because, according to Top Gear executive producer Clare Pizey, this is the first time the team has travelled to this area of the country.
Worst Injuries Suffered By Presenters On Top Gear
Presenters Paddy McGuiness, Freddie Flintoff and Chris Harris, were all spotted in Perranporth driving an MGB Sebring, VW Beetle, and Lada Niva only two days ago. It’s a possibility that they’ve also been to Davidstow Airstrip, likely for some form of drag race.
Flintoff was then spotted at a gym in Bodmin, with owner Richard Hidderly telling CornwallLive the following:
“We chatted quite a bit about cars as I build cars for hill climb and racing. Really nice guy and just a pleasure to have him in the gym.”
A spokesperson from the BBC also confirmed this, with them saying the following:
“I can confirm that Top Gear was filming in Cornwall last Friday and Saturday. Paddy, Freddie and Chris filmed at Bodmin Moor, Davidstow Airfield, Perranporth Airfield and the Hedland Hotel in Newquay.
“The presenters were shooting a film for the new series looking at an alternative way of approaching cars for first-time drivers and this involved driving three 40 year old cars – an MGB Sebring, a VW Beetle and a Lada Niva.
“They started the challenge in Devon last week and ended in Cornwall.”
