8 Cars Reimagined As Pickup Trucks / Utes

SUVs are becoming ever so popular these days for simply taking children to school. They’re big, have plenty of space for your son’s sports kit, and have at least a tiny amount of off-road potential. So why have pickup trucks all but disappeared from the roads of England?

This saddens me greatly, so I’m here to urge us all to take a stand. We want some fast utes on the roads. And to help us in doing so, here are 8 cars that look great as pickups/utes!

All of these cars are brought to you by X-Tom Design – possibly one of, if not the best designer of these concept images on the planet right now.

BENTLEY CONTINENTAL GT

The Conti GT is one hell of a cruiser, and put your foot down to welcome a surge of torque to push the heavyweight along. Ute style? Well I can’t say no.

ALFA ROMEO GIULIA QUADRIFOGLIO

The Giulia has had such a positive response since its release, so why not open it up to tradesmen as well? There’s nothing like getting to a job on time!

BMW 8-SERIES

Possible the least good looking on the list, but hey, there always has to be one.

KIA STINGER

For those on a budget, there’s always a Kia!

TOYOTA GT86

I never thought I’d see the day… but they might want to give this a bit more power and a tow bar.

VOLVO V90 CROSS COUNTRY

You just can’t beat a Volvo. This needs to happen.

BMW M4

You’d have to fill the rear with weighty objects just to keep the wheels from spinning. This would be one squirrely MF.

Mazda MX3

Now as you can see, this isn’t a concept, this is the real deal. A Mazda MX3 – I think – converted for farm work. Does it get any better than this??

Which would you take home?
