Audi RS6 Wagon Tuned To 787BHP By MTM USA

The Audi RS6 is the go-to family car for those who love the feeling of getting pushed against their seat with monumental force. The 2020 RS6 produces 591 bhp and 590 lb-ft of torque, all with the space for a full family and multiple dogs – if you fancied. The estate is slowly getting killed off by the reign of SUV that is plaguing the market, but us petrol heads can’t say no to a fast wagon. But is the RS6 fast enough? I’d think so, but apparently some think the 0-60 mph time of 3.6 seconds could do with some improvements.

MTM USA has taken the 4.0-litre V8 that sits under the bonnet of the german wagon, and poured their magic into it, enabling it to produce 787 bhp and 760 lb-ft of torque. The exact modifications are under wraps, but I’d expect a new exhaust system, some high flow air intakes and maybe an upgraded radiator would do the trick. Plus a tune, of course. But this is only Stage 1, and the car has plenty of potential thanks to its high-performance AWD system.

Performance stats are also unavailable for now but expect a 0-60 mph time within the  2-second window and a 10/11-second quarter-mile time. This is truly supercar territory but coupled with the everyday usability of a family estate. Prices are coming soon and expect it to be on the pricy side, although the RS6 has always been easier to explain to your wife than a two-door sports car.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
