1 of 1 Pagani Huayra Roadster Crashed By 17 Year Old
If I owned a Pagani Huayra Roadster, I’m not sure I’d give the keys to a teenage son. Unfortunately for this specific Huayra, that’s exactly what did happen, and now it’s been left with serious damage after it was involved in a serious crash.
This car, chassis number 76029, was finished in a gorgeous purple colour that allowed the carbon fibre material to be seen through the paint. It was one-of-one, so when a collection of photos of this car after one hell of a collision turned up online, car nuts all over the world joined a day of mourning. As did the father, I’m sure.
The front of the carbon-bodied hypercar received the major hit, with parts of the car scattered across the road and the front bumper and accompanying wheels being torn off from where they were originally fixed. Even the driver’s door has disappeared, confirming that this is going to be one hell of a payout.
The 17-year old behind the wheel was Gage Gillean, owner of the G Exotics channel on YouTube. He was accompanied at the time of the crash by another YouTuber. Thankfully, they both got away without sustaining any major injuries. The owner of the car, according to The Drive, was Tim Gillean, who also owns a host of other incredible cars including a McLaren Senna, Lamborghini Urus, Bugatti Chiron and Rolls-Royce Dawn.
Only 100 units of the Pagani Huayra were built, so we hope this one can be repaired and brought back to its former glory.
