Aston Martin Valkyrie V12 Screams At Silverstone Circuit In New Video
Let’s kick the morning off with the sound of the sweet Cosworth V12 as the new Aston Martin Valkyrie sweeps its £2.6million chassis around Silverstone Circuit. We’ve recently told you all about Aston Martin’s new hypercar, so we’ll briefly touch on the stats here.
The naturally aspirated V12 produces 1,000bhp. Add that to the power produced by its hybrid electric motors and it produces a total of 1,160 savaging horses, each rearing to burn off your ears with a Formula 1-like howl. Torque sits at 664lb ft, which doesn’t sound so special compared to current electric cars, but Aston is touting this as the fastest street-legal car on the road when it arrives officially some time next year.
Its large body only weighs 1,030kg, enabling it to have the agility of cars much smaller than itself, and Adrian Newey is behind its aerodynamics. That should tell you everything about just how spectacular this car is going to be on track.
So get your coffee, sit back, and listen while the Red Bull liveried Valkyrie screams as it graces Silverstone with its presence.
Only 150 units will be made, with 25 track-only models being built alongside this. Unfortunately, they’re all accounted for.
