Forza Horizon 5: New Multiplayer Modes And Car Sharing Revealed

The latest episode of Let’s Go! has revealed a number of new multiplayer modes as well as an all-new car-sharing feature. The livestream, which is currently available to watch on YouTube, shows us 50 full mites of the multiplayer of Forza Horizon 5.

The multiplayer of Horizon 5 will include Mini Missions, including a game where the objective is to destroy other player’s cars, and another where players are told to destroy as many piñatas as possible on a track. These are activated while in multiplayer and will trigger a number of objectives for those included. Each player will be challenged and will earn points for their team when successful.

The video then moves on to the ability to share car packages with friends online. this will tie music and a livery to a car, and will push your friend to respond. The car you’re sending will not be cloned, it will actually leave your inventory and move to theirs, meaning they will own the one-of-a-kind gift.

With 420 cars available from day one of the game being released, I expect that many people will make use of this new feature. Especially as the racing game will have a Car Collection interface, which will allow players to keep track of what cars they’ve driven and owned in the past from each manufacturer.

Forza themselves have said it’s “like having your own virtual car sticker book”, with each car being a specified level of rare, and once a certain number of cars are unlocked from a specific manufacturer, you’ll unlock rewards.

We’re very excited to get behind the wheel, although it’s been confirmed that a demo of the game won’t be available.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: alex@grandtournation.com
