Kevin Hart’s ‘Michael Myers’ Plymouth Road Runner Has Almost 1,000 Horsepower For Halloween Scares

Goodguys are finally giving out their awards for custom cars of the year, something that we look forward to each year, and this year they’ve given one of many awards to an actor not necessarily known for his car collection. While he’s featured on the Fast and Furious spinoff film, Hobbs and Shaw, Kevin Hart is yet to take a serious role in a car-based movie. But despite this, he’s a serious gear head at heart, and now his custom 1969 Plymouth Road Runner has been given a crown to prove it. Built by Salvaggio Design, it was awarded Griot’s Garage Muscle Machine of The Year by Goodguys, and how fitting with it coming up to the scariest night of the year, Halloween.

This car looks like it’s risen from hell with orange accenting over gloss black paintwork. The hood is however a black satin, and boasts a large hood scoop that teases the 426 HEMI engine beneath it. This has also been painted orange and is mated to a Whipple supercharger and a Holley Dominator EFI system. 940 horsepower runs from this powertrain unit to a manual gearbox for ultimate levels of fun… and danger.

It’s no surprise the actor has nicknamed this car Michael Myers.

To keep the car in check, Detroit Speed suspension sits at each corner and to clean up the wiring, there are two layers of flooring where brake lines, wiring, and fuel lines can be hidden.

The car has plenty of life still in it, so expect so see more of this car in the coming months as it collects more accolades.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
