Limited Edition Ford Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca For Sale With Only 3k Miles On It

The Ford Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca isn’t only a mouthful, but it’s one hell of a car. It has a 5.0-litre V8 engine that funnels its 444 bhp through a six-speed manual gearbox. As you can tell, it’s a real drivers’ car that anyone would be lucky to drive, least of all own.

Well, funny I should say that, eh? Chassis number 638 of 747 is now for sale, with only 3,700 miles on its odometer. According to the seller, it was previously sold through Bring a Trailer (like the Datsun 240Z we discussed a few days ago), but the purchaser didn’t follow through with the transaction. Initially, it was sold for $33,750, but it currently sat at a bid of $28,000.

If for some reason you think that’s expensive, let me guide you through why this car is worth every penny.

It’s coated in black paint with silver accents on the hood, rear wing, mirrors, and side panels. The suspension is straight from the Boss 302R, meaning they’re stiffer and adjustable, and there are larger anti-sway bars underneath. 19-inch wheels hide large Bremo brakes, and the interior holds Recaro seats and Alcantara trim. At the rear, there’s a Torsen limited-slip diff.

While there’s plenty of performance-enhancing upgrades, the driver is still treated to a number of creature comforts such as SYNC with Bluetooth, a CD stereo, air conditioning and cruise control.

Rolling out of the factory the car produced the aforementioned 444 bhp, plus 380 lb-ft of torque making it far superior in terms of power to the latest Mustang GT. And while it’s RWD layout and manual gearbox means it’s not such a track-optimised car, it certainly gives you the smiles per miles to please anyone with a bit of petrol running through their blood.

Brand new, the 2013 Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca would cost you $50,465. This could very well be the deal of the century. Just listen to it below…

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
