New Need For Speed Rumoured For Reveal This Week
It has been revealed that the next Need For Speed game will be announced this week with a December release.
A reporter for Giant Bomb, Jeff Grubb, explained on the Game Mess Mornings podcast last week:
“What I’ve heard recently, over the last week or so, is that Need for Speed Unbound is supposed to get announced next week and then it should still be coming out this year, so December,”
Electronic Arts (EA) have not been denying any fans speculations on the highly anticipated release on their social channels. One Twitter user in particular asked if they could confirm the claims that the Need For Speed game will be revealed this week.

The Need For Speed Twitter social media team responded with just the eye emoji. Codemasters, EA racing game studio, replied stirring the pot even more:

It was confirmed in May by EA that fans should expect the upcoming Need For Speed game to be released in the last quarter of 2022. It is rumoured that the latest game will be set in “Lake Shore City” which is based on Chicago. It will also reportedly have a realistic style with an anime twist.
A clip of the gameplay was leaked in August where fans saw a car trying to jump through an obstacle and crashing.
