Porsche Taycan Driver Flies Off Side Of Driveway In Horrible Crash

Sometimes, when people who aren’t experienced with new cars, especially all-electric cars, things can go wrong. While we don’t know if that’s the case here, something had still gone very wrong for this Porsche Taycan driver, as he launches his car through another, and off the side of a driveway.

Somewhere in the UK, life has suddenly got a bit harder for this particular person, as they put the Taycan’s instant torque to use in the worst way possible. Judging by the fact the brake lights only appeared for a split second, it looks as though this driver accidentally mashed the accelerator instead of the brake pedal, although it’s also possible that the driver has a medical condition which resulted in this horrific accident.

Regardless, there are two other vehicles damaged in this, after he EV surges through one and lands on the roof of another, so hopefully they have insurance. The thing is, when you mash the pedal to the floor in a Taycan, even the base 4S model, you command all 477 lb-ft of torque and 523 horsepower to push you in the forward direction. Yeah, this was a bad time for the driver, and those affected.

If you know anything more about this incident, please do get in touch at pitcrew @ grand tour nation . com. We’d love to know that the driver was okay.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
