The Tesla Model Y was the second most sold car in the UK in September, and the most sold EV.

Data released by The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders Ltd (SMMT) shows top ten vehicles sold year to date as well as just in September.

Elon Musk, Tesla CEO, is often making big claims about where the company is going to go. After his statement that the Model Y could become the world’s best-selling car, this may be accurate with the way the electric crossover has taken off in the UK.
