This Bugatti Chiron Ute Is Everything We Need Right Now
One of our very favourite car renderers Rain Prisk is always picking up on the trends of the car industry. Well, maybe not the industry that actually sells cars to people, but the part of the industry that thrives on social media and at car shows. It’s safe to say that we’re a weird bunch. We couldn’t care less for the latest SUV or the new Citroen crossover, but give us a sports ute and a hypercar and we’re all over it.
So, what if you put those two together? Prisk has done exactly that and shown us the brilliance of what happens when a Bugatti Chiron meets an HSV Maloo, or a “Bugatti Chiron for Australian market” as Prisk himself puts it.
It is a gorgeous machine, to say the least, with the Bugatti front nicely flowing into its ute pickup rear. We lose the C-cut out on the side, but we gain a nice little spoiler that brings the roofline to an aggressive little flick.
But, despite how good it looks, I do wonder where the Chiron’s quad-turbo W16 engine sits, with the rear of the car now being used as storage space for your local billionaire tradesman. Although hey, this is a render, maybe there’s a smaller engine sitting under the bonnet.
Either way, we need more utes on the market. And with Bugatti now joining forces with Rimac… who am I kidding.
Vote up for the return of utes, Nation!
