This ‘Jeeporghini’ Is Everything We Wanted From The Lamborghini Urus

Lamborghini has a strong history with the SUV, with the marque confidently showing its hand when it released the LM002. Now, its Urus maintains the company’s accounts, but Ricky Irizarry from Illinois, US, is busy creating something much more interesting than a re-bodied Audi.

Named the “Jeeporghini”, this is a first-gen Jeep Liberty, cut up to wear a Diablo replica body kit. It’s yet to be finished, but you can see from the photos just how good it looks as Irizarry molds together an off-roader and what some consider to be the best a supercar has ever been.

The cars have a very similar wheelbase which makes this partnership easier than you expect, but there’s still a lot of custom work that makes this even close to being possible.

The Jeep is equipped with a 3.7-litre PowerTech V6, and while this only produces 213 horsepower compared to the potent 529 hp of the 5.7-litre V12 found in the Lamborghini, Irizarry wants to daily drive this so it’s likely we won’t see a V12 being dropped into this build. But we’d love to see some sort of power upgrades being made to make this go as good as it’s going to look.

We’re very excited to see how this progresses and will be keeping you guys up to date.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
