Top Gun 2: Maverick Trailer Release Shows Maverick Flying Futuristic Jet
Tom Cruise returns to the skies with Top Gun 2: Maverick which is promising to become one of 2020s greatest releases. With James Bond: No Time To Die also being released next year, it’s going to be one hell of a time for movie lovers.
The sequel that we’ve been waiting for for so long rekindles out relationship with Pete “Maverick” Mitchel. How? We have no idea. As far as we know from the trailer, his career has slowed down with him still retaining the rank of captain despite his performance being exemplary. What we do see from the second trailer is the sheer amount of filming in the air, which we’re all going to greatly enjoy.
If you wait until the very end of the trailer, we get to see Maverick strapped into a very futuristic looking bird. Looking like a wider version of the SR-72, Mav is wearing a self-lit space helmet, so something crazy is surely going to happen.
Details on the story are still few and far between, but we can’t wait to find out more as we’re treated to future trailers, and of course, to be subjected to the amount of cheese we expect from a Top Gun movie. Watch the trailer below.
