Video Released Of The Koenigsegg Regera 0-250-0 MPH Run

In just 31.49 seconds, the Koenigsegg Regera was able to not only hit 250mph, but then brake back to 0mph. These are some incredibly impressive numbers to say the least, but what’s even more impressive is the video that’s just been released showing exactly how the action went down.

With the Koenigsegg factory driver Sonny Persson behind the wheel, the Regera was able to remove almost two seconds from the previous record made by the Agera RS. The car effortlessly accelerates up its single gear to the speed of 250mph before Persson slams on the brakes to bring the car to a standstill. He wrestles with the grip as it comes to a stop in an effortless manner.

Koenigsegg Regera Sets 0-400-0KPH Record With Chiron In Sights

Clearly seen in the video, the only modification to the car is a roll cage, plus the use of a Racelogic VBox which tracks the car’s speed and analytics. Yeah, they’re quite impressive…

  • 0-400 km/h in 22.82 seconds
  • 0-250 mph in 23.64 seconds
  • 400-0 km/h in 8.67 seconds
  • 250-0 mph in 8.84 seconds
  • 0-400-0 km/h in 31.49 seconds
  • 0-250-0 mph in 32.48 seconds

Will we see the Regera take on the top speed record now held (maybe not so officially) by the Chiron? Or will it be the Jesko that takes the medal?

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]

  1. Don: from the graph, it looks like he dropped 200 kph in about 5 seconds. That is about 11 m/s of acceleration, a little over one g. Adding gravity, he felt 1.5 g.

  2. Does anybody know how many G’s he pulled when braking? I’ve looked all over and I can’t find it.
