Karma Announces All-Electric Revero GT E 2021 – 0-60 In 3.9 Seconds And 400 Miles Of Range

Karma, the luxury hybrid-sedan manufacture, announced a new “365 Days To All Electric” initiative. They are starting with the Revero GT E, 200 and 300 mile-ranged versions, which will come this time next year. They will feature a 0-60 of under 3.9 seconds, and reach 80% charge in under 30 minutes. By the end of next year, their hyper-mile edition, with 400 miles of range, will hit the streets.

Karma has been up to a lot lately, especially for a company which hand assembles its cars. They’ve been teasing beautiful concepts, potential pickup trucks, as well as very solid self-driving delivery truck plans.

“The GTE adds diversity to our growing product range, and ushers in a new era of pure all-electric technology,” says Vlad Kalika,  Karma’s Vice President of Powertrain.

Of course, one could be forgiven for mistaking Karma’s existing lineup as all-electric; the classic Revero model and subsequent GT and GT S are both “extended range” plug-in hybrids. While that is definitely a niche segment, it has been a fantastic way for Karma to differentiate themselves from other California-based EV brands. Much like Rivian, they have been diversifying their lineup and business dealings, working to develop next-gen commercial vehicles with sled-like powertrain systems on one hand, while addressing luxury consumers with the other.

According to the press release, the Revero GT E will be available for reservation in the coming months.
