Ken Block Not Featuring In Gymkhana 11 – Travis Pastrana Takes The Wheel

Ken Block’s Gymkhana has been hitting our YouTube screens for 12 years now, and we’ll be the first to say, its flown by. The first ever Gymkhana hit YouTube during the websites infancy but has grown and grown into ten full length instalments being viewed hundreds of millions of times.

Every single instalment features the same driver behind the wheel in the form of rally driver, Ken Block, but according to DirtFish.com – this is all about to change with the 11th instalment set to film later in 2020, but it won’t have Block in the hot seat, instead Travis Pastrana (an occasional guest) will be taking the wheel.

Word on the street is Hoonigan have linked up with Subaru and their factory racing partner, Vermont SportsCar and have been working in unison to put the next project together – but Pastrana has been kept completely in the dark.

While Pastrana has been a special guest on the Gymkhana show, this will actually be the first time someone other than Block will take the driving seat. Pastrana is pretty well qualified though and no stranger to the franchise as he featured in both Gymkhana 5 and 10. It is also a return for Subaru who also featured in Gymkhana 2. It is expected that Pastrana will be driving a Subaru WRX STI, but nothing has been confirmed as of yet.

We doubt this will be the last time that Ken Block will be behind the wheel in a Gymkhana production as Block has already teased the Hoonifox, a heavily modified Ford Mustang as well a potential all electric set up. We’ll be keeping out eyes glued to YouTube in anticipation!
