Kevin Hart Reveals His Insane New Daily Driver And Corvette C1 At SEMA

Actor and comedian Kevin Hart has revealed two of his new cars at SEMA this year, a Chevrolet Corvette and a Buick Grand National, as well as showcasing another.

Hart’s love of cars has become even more apparent lately with his Halloween themed 1969 Plymouth Road Runner, which he named “Michael Myers”. The car, which won the Griot’s Garage Muscle Car of the Year award, was also on show at the 2022 SEMA show.

The actor has said that he is going to keep adding to his collection, so it wasn’t a massive shock to fans that he had two more to reveal. However, SEMA was the first time that Hart had seen the finished cars so fans were able to see his instant reaction when they were unveiled.

As seen with the 1969 Plymouth Road Runner, Hart clearly enjoys to have fun when it comes to naming his cars, and he has carried this on with the latest two. The 1959 Chevrolet Corvette C1 restomod has been named “Mint Condition”, aptly named for its mint green exterior, which is complimented by the beige leather interior. The Corvette was restored with Bent Custom and incorporates custom billet aluminium Ogden Chrome parts.

The Buick Grand National has been named “Dark Knight” and was restored by the same team that did his Road Runner, Salvaggio Design. Before revealing “Dark Knight” Hart said that he has a lot of cars. He explained:

“[I try] not to show around too many so you won’t think I’m an a**hole, so I’ll try to keep a large number of them under the wraps.”

Hart was just as excited as the fans when the Grand National was unveiled, especially as he had just told fans that they had been working on it for quite some time. He explained that they wanted to keep to the routes of the car and “keep the heart of the 80s”. Hart also added:

“I don’t just sit in the cars, I drive the cars. This will be a daily driver.”

The Grand National has been modified to be given a more aggressive style including a new grille and custom badging. Under the new carbon fibre hood is a Cadillac ATS-V 3.6-litre V6 engine. The interior features a blue and beige colour scheme.

The two restomods are insane and Hart seemed over the moon with both of them. Hopefully, for the fans and car nerds, he won’t keep too many of his cars under wraps.
