Mercedes-Benz C-Class Involved In Massive Crash After Dangerous Undertaking

A Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe was caught in a terrible accident in the Netherlands earlier this year, and it was all caught on dash cam.

The rear-facing dashcam begins by depicting the driver driving in the middle lane of a highway, with a silver VW Polo and a black C-Class Coupe approaching from behind in the faster lane. The driver of the C-Class Coupe is very close to the rear of the German hatchback, and with them not moving into the slower lane to allow them to pass, the Mercedes pulls into the slower lane itself to undertake.

You can watch the video here – its playback has been disabled on external sites like GTN.

The C-Class Coupe driver is unable to make an overtake before catching up to the car wielding the camera so goes to pull back in behind the Polo. But with such a violent manoeuvre, the car loses traction and starts fishtailing from side to side. It doesn’t look like the Mercedes hit the camera car, but the Mercedes eventually hits the grass embankment at the side of the road.

The Mercedes is flung up into the air before hitting the floor and rolling. Onlooking drivers pull over to check on the driver. We’re unsure as to what injuries the driver sustained, but the airbags don’t look like they deployed.

Hopefully the driver of the car is okay, regardless of his dangerous actions on the road.
