The Koenigsegg Agera RS Has Finished Production. All Hail the Agera RS

There were only ever 25 units announced, so we all knew the end of the Koenigsegg Agera RS was coming sooner rather than later. But now that the end is here, we’re left with a feeling of “Now what?”

Koenigsegg released a statement thanking those who purchased the car:

“To those who managed to order one of the 25 cars, we thank you for your trust in our vision and brand, and we congratulate you on your foresight, your acumen, and your truly unique car.”

Only two more Agera models will be completed from this point on; the Final Edition cars shown at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. Only three of those cars will be built, after which the Agera line will be finished completely.

The Agera RS holds five speed records and currently has the title of fastest official top speed for a road going vehicle at 277.9 MPH
