This Lamborghini Huracan Has A Twin Turbo V8 With A Manual Gearbox

This Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 you see before you had a hard start in life. Its owner modified it lightly, but when that wasn’t enough, began to turbocharge it. Unfortunately, this didn’t go so well, with the car being torn down to the shell by flames.

But then the clouds parted and a saint named Chris Steinbacher (B is for Build) bought the shell of the Italian supercar. He envisioned something more than a rebuild, he wanted a serious driver’s car with a manual gearbox and a one hell of an engine powering it. In short, he built a twin-turbo LQ4 LS V8 powered Lambo, and he got the manual gearbox he wanted from an Audi R8. Yep, one of the best feeling shifters in the world.

In the future, he wants the low compression iron block 6.0-litre to produce 1,000hp, but the body is already bang on with carbon fibre body panels from a Huracan Super Trofeo.

The car will be revealed in all its glory at the SEMA show, and we can’t wait to hear more of it.
