Tesla To Build 53 Acres Worth Of Megapack Batteries For Gigafactory Texas

We recently reported on drone footage that showed huge expansion is likely to be on the cards at the Tesla Fremont facility, and now, the EV company has just received approval for a huge battery energy storage system (BESS) project at the Texas Gigafactory.

According to filings, the City of Austin approved the project on the 9th August. There is currently no set capacity by it is shown as being 53.27 acres, in the reports.
