F1 News: Charles Leclerc Takes His First Ever Pole At Spanish Grand Prix

Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc has gained pole position at the Spanish Grand Prix, his first-ever of his career and fourth of this season. He’s followed by Max Verstappen in the Red Bull and teammate Carlos Sainz. George Russell of Mercedes gained fourth position, giving him a nice second-row start, and Sergio Perez sits fifth.

What an exciting qualifying for the Spanish Grand Prix. Mick Schumacher made it to Q3 for the very first time in his career, and Mercedes has shown a serious improvement compared to their troublesome start of the 2022 season. Russell has shown that he is certainly more accurate with the W13.

As usual, Ferrari and Red Bull have shown dominance, but ax Verstappen complained of having a lack of power on his latest attempt at his final qualifying

Lando Norris wasn’t able to breach Q3 thanks to running over track limits, but for us, Haas was the team of the day showing amazingly strong performance.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
