Ferrari hasn’t been having the best of luck recently with them not only having an air gun damaged during the Dutch GP, but simply forgetting a fourth wheel during the same pit stop. Join this with the poor strategy that has arguable ruined Charles Leclerc’s chances at winning the championship as well as reliability issues, and you’re having a bad year.
Now, as the team heads to their home race at Monza, they’ve run straight into more bad luck as their truck breaks down along the way.
“Okay Plan G, Plan G. The brakes are on fire, we have no engines”
Another tough start for Ferrari. Ferrari’s transport lorry carrying the engines to Monza has caught fire due to overheating brakes 😬 pic.twitter.com/0IE0vOQlP2

The issue was reportedly overheated brakes, but this will mean that both Leclerc and Sainz will be getting to the track a little later than expected.
On their way from Zandvoort , Ferrari is hoping to rise once again after some poor races as they tease a new yellow car and yellow outfits for their drivers. So far, they’ve instead had to call the fire brigade to extinguish the brakes on the truck as they set on fire – something that Sainz is now very used to.
Fortunately, the damage wasn’t too bad and this will be the last bit of bad luck the team will have this week. I’m crossing everything.♦ Follow Grand Tour Nation on Google News
