F1 News: Haas Transport Stranded – Bahrain Testing Might Not Go Ahead For Team
After weeks of bad luck and financial hits, the American F1 team Haas has hit yet another roadblock that could cause serious issues. Its cargo plane that was due to transport the team and its cars to Bahrain for Winter testing has broken down, meaning the team may not be able to attend.
F1 teams are starting to gather their resources in Bahrain today ready for testing to commence this week, but with Haas’ plane still in Istanbul and the team’s equipment in Doncaster, it’s looking as though they might not be able to get there on time according to Auto, Motor und Sport.
Now, the team is looking to charter a different plane so they can get at least some time on track.
The cargo plane that was supposed to transport the Haas F1 cars & equipment to Bahrain has broken down in Istanbul. The freight is still stuck at London. It's not sure whether everything will arrive in time for the first day of testing.
