F1 News: Lewis Hamilton Explains Why He Jumped Off Parade Bus Before Bahrain Grand Prix
Lewis Hamilton made fans roar with laughter after his not-so-elegant jump off of the parade bus moments before Bahrain Grand Prix. He’s now explained why he had to make the quick getaway as his fellow racing drivers like ex-teammate Valtteri Bottas watched on.
He posted the following to Instagram:
“Still thinking about last weekend. None of us were expecting a result like that, hard work and luck really pulled through in our favour. Definitely pumped for round 2, in the meantime enjoy these photos. Also, I had to hop off the parade because mans had to go 😂 didn’t land too gracefully but Valtteri didn’t look too worried 😂”
Fans quickly replied to his post, showing their love for the fact Hamilton is still close with Bottas who moved from Mercedes to Alfa Romeo at the end of last year’s F1 season.
2The bromance is still alive and we are here for it,” one fans said.
“Mick and Esteban looked so worried for you😭,” another adds.
“When you gotta go…you gotta go champ!” a third commented.
When you gotta go, you gotta go! Even if you’re a 7-time F1 world champion. And while F1 drivers can most definitely pee while racing, I’m sure it’s a rather uncomfortable experience that most, if not all, would swap for just going before the race.
Posting the same to Twitter, Bottas responded to the photo of his face:
I knew you’d be just fine 😂
