F1 News: Mercedes Wows Fans As They Take Spanish GP By Storm
Red Bull takes a 1-2 at the Spanish Grand Prix with Max Verstappen taking 1st place. But the Constructor of the day is certainly Mercedes with some impeccable racing from both George Russell and Lewis Hamilton, the latter being pushed down to 19th after a hit with Haas on the first lap, hitting fourth place, but being forced to slow down resulting in a fifth-place finish.
Verstappen suffered DRS issues with his car that stopped him from overtaking Russell, but eventually made it through to first place, taking his 24th win. Teammate Sergio Perez took home a 2nd place and the fastest lap.
Carlos Sainz takes fourth place in the Ferrari and Lewis came in a deflated sixth.
