F1 News: Mick Schumacher Rejected From Red Bull Seat

2023 is looking to be a very interesting year in the world of F1 as silly season continues. But now fans will be disappinted to find out that Mick Schumacher has been rejected from any connection with Red Bull and AlphaTauri thanks to his relationship with Ferrari. This gives Schumacher very few options if Haas does decide to drop him from his seat.

Helmut Marko has admitted that Pierre Gasly could make the move from AlphaTauri to Alpine, with Red Bull happy for him to to fulfil his dream of driving for a French team. With Gasly looking to move in that case, fans have wondered if Schumacher could move from Haas to AlphaTauri.Unfortunately, according to the team advisor, this isn’t going to happen.

Marko has admitted to Sky Germany that Mick Schumacher doesn’t fit in the team, despite the open seat.

“He doesn’t matter to us,” he said. “He is a Ferrari junior and therefore we have never negotiated with Mick Schumacher. We have our own programme [with juniors] and we obviously prefer our own people.”

Fortunately for Schumacher, the driver delivered a P8 in today’s qualifying at the Dutch GP, proving that he has got potential.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
