F1 Welcomes American Driver Logan Sargeant To The Sport – Probably…

Jost Capito, the CEO of Williams F1, has confirmed in Saturday’s press conference that after rumours that Logan Sargeant is potentially joining the team, they will indeed be doing this. But, there is one condition: he will need to collect the necessary Super License points to join the sport.

For a few days now, fans of F1 have been questioning who would take up the empty seat in the Williams team. And now with Capito confirming this ahead of the Austin Grand Prix, fans will look forward to seeing another new face on the grid of 2023. Super License points will now be on the top of Sargeant’s agender, as will the two FP1 sessions he has later this year behind the wheel of an F1 car.

This will allow him to gain 100km of driving, as well as add a few more points to his name.

If the stars align for Sargeant, there will once again be an American driver in F1, the first time since Alexander Rossi. Of course, on the other hand, this limits Mick Schumacher’s chances of staying in the sport with him obviously losing the potential seat in Williams.

There are only four races left this year, and the future of Mick Schumacher is still up in the air.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
