Williams Racing Reveals Sophisticated Livery On Its FW44 At Silverstone

Williams has revealed its 2022 livery at Silverstone during the car’s shakedown. Named the FW44, it was lapping the track on wet tyres as it combatted the UK rain.

The livery is very different from last year, now focussing on a gloss blue base colour, dropping the yellow and white from last year’s design. Now it features lines of a lighter blue and red and features a much simpler design which we’ve seen across the board of the recent car releases.

A new driver joins Williams Racing this year as ex-Red Bull driver Alex Albon joins Nicholas Latifi. These drivers have a history together with them being teammates during their days at Formula 2 under DAMS four years ago.

We’re very excited to see how Williams stacks up against the pack this season, but so far, we love the simple yet sophisticated design.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: alex@grandtournation.com
