Gran Turismo 7: State Of Play Reveals Gameplay And Cinematics This Week

Gran Turismo 7 is finally on its way to the PS4 and PS5, hitting stores on March 4th 2022. The release of the racing game has been delayed multiple times, but now it will take the number one spot of Sony’s first State of Play for 2022.

The State of Play will stream February 2nd at 5pm ET and will show fans their first look at Gran Turismo 7 consisting of “just over 30 minutes of new [GT7] PS5 footage and gameplay details,” according to Sony.

Sony has just teased some GT7 gameplay as well as a host of vehicles to be included in the game. Alongside this, the developer, Polyphony Digital, has teased us further by revealing that a number of our favourite modes will return.

Fans will be happy to see the game being given some important dates, as when GT7 was first unveiled in June of 2022, series creator Kazunori Yamauchi told us that “we don’t want to take too long on Gran Turismo 7.” Unfortunately, the development of the game has taken much longer than they expected.

Despite this, we’re incredibly excited to see what Sony and Polyphony bring to the table.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
