James May Begins Next Chapter Away From The Grand Tour: “Decided To Go To India”

James May, the beloved Grand Tour television presenter and journalist, has embarked on a new adventure as he begins filming the next chapter for his upcoming season of James May: Our Man In India. He posted to his Twitter account revealing this after complaining about oven-baked chips. This will see him move away from The Grand Tour for a good amount of time after the controversy surrounding Jeremy Clarkson.

This travel documentary series, in the same way as Our Man in Italy and Japan, will follow May as he explores the vibrant and diverse country of India, immersing himself in its rich culture and traditions.

With his trademark wit and humor, May will likely take viewers on a journey through bustling cities, picturesque villages, and stunning natural landscapes, showcasing the beauty and complexity of India. As fans eagerly await the release of the new season, there’s no doubt that James May will once again captivate audiences with his unique brand of travel journalism.

The release date for this is currently unknown, but we’ve known for a little while that India would be the next destination for the seasoned TV veteran.

He posted the following to Twitter:

As James May begins filming for the next season of Our Man In India, fans can look forward to another unforgettable journey through one of the world’s most captivating countries. With his infectious enthusiasm and genuine curiosity, May will bring to life the sights, sounds, and flavors of India in a way that is both entertaining and insightful.

Whether he’s exploring the chaotic streets of Mumbai, the serene backwaters of Kerala, or the majestic forts of Rajasthan, we eagerly anticipate the release of the new season, we can only imagine the incredible adventures and experiences that James May has in store for us.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
