Jeremy Clarkson And Lisa Hogan Talk Getting COVID During Clarkson’s Farm Filming
Clarkson’s Farm has wowed audiences across the world as Grand Tour presenter Jeremy Clarkson struggles to build a successful farm with help from Kaleb, his girlfriend Lisa Hogan, and several others. But while the show was steeped in humour, it wasn’t entirely plain sailing for the family.

As we shared earlier this year, Jeremy caught COVID over the Christmas holidays, so in a recent interview with the press, Lisa described what it was like living through the ex-Top Gear presenter’s “petrifying” ordeal.
“Jeremy getting Covid was petrifying, but it was thankfully a very light dose.
“But yes, everyone thought at the time that if you got it, you’d end up in a hospital, so we were very aware of that.”
“We were all really careful, no one from the whole crew or anyone on the farm got it.”
“We did have one scenario when we were filming with bees where one of the cameramen had the full suit on and the camera was up to his eyes.
“And I had a stick, and I was trying to push forward the bit of his suit because I could see the bees on it.
“The next thing someone was panicking, ‘Two metres, two metres!’ he was yelling at me, I backed off and the cameraman got stung twice on his forehead.”
She laughed “Jeremy got stung quite badly on his backside.
“I mean, who would you have to be to come back as a bee and get killed on Jeremy’s backside?” she joked. “You’d have to be quite evil in life, wouldn’t you?”

Jeremy talked about his bees in an interview where he discussed getting stung by a very brave specimen:
“The bees aren’t so bad but it’s just, they hate me.
“Even though I wear my full bee suit they worked out how to get into it.
“I don’t want to be lavatorial, but last time I went there, they normally get me on the ankle — the bit between the training shoe and the bottom of the suit.”
Jeremy added: “They’ve worked out that’s literally my Achilles heel.
“But this time I wore Wellingtons and I thought, ‘Ah that’ll stop them’.
“The bee got in the bottom, crawled up the Wellington, up the jeans trouser until it got between there and my T-shirt where it found an interesting crack, down it went and then stung me.”
He continued the sad story of this bee:
“And when you’re in a bee suit you can’t get the bee out.
“I knew it was there dying in my underpants. I just thought, ‘God this honey better sell’. It does taste nice.”
Fortunately, Jeremy has now stated that customers are loving the honey so much, they can’t keep up with the demand.
