Jeremy Clarkson Sets Audi RS4 On Fire During Next Grand Tour Episode

The trailer for the next episode of The Grand Tour has been released, and it’s been confirmed that it is, as we expected, in Norway. Named ‘A Scandi Flick’, the special episode looks like it focusses on the history of rallying as Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May travel across the beautiful country in three rally-bred cars.

But in the trailer, not only do we see the run up to May’s scary high speed crash, we also see the Evo eventually getting flooded as it falls through the ice. It’s safe to say the Mitsubishi comes to a tearful end, but Clarkson’s Audi RS4 doesn’t look like it got any better treatment.

During the trailer, the Audi can be seen covered in ice, so I would assume in an attempt to try to thaw his powerful V8-powered saloon, he sets fire to the car.

Interestingly, at this point the car is also wrapped in a livery that was once seen on the famous Audi UR Quattro and Cibbies are fitted to the front bumper.

The trailer and release date were both revealed today, with the episode coined as being released on the 16th September. As usual, it will be found on Prime Video, who had this to say about the epsiode:

In the first episode of season 5 and their first post-pandemic road trip, Jeremy, Richard and James head for the icy wastes of the Scandinavian Arctic Circle.  At the wheel of their three favourite rally cars the boys embark on a catastrophe-filled adventure that takes in Cold War submarine bases – frozen lake racetracks, crashes and ski resort chaos as they drag their homemade houses from the coast of Norway to the Russian Border.

We’re very excited to learn more.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
