Jeremy Clarkson: Watch The Grand Tour Presenter Drive The BRX Hunter Dakar Rally Truck

In a video recently posted to the Diddly Squat Farm Facebook page, Jeremy Clarkson sits behind the wheel of the BRX Hunter, a Dakar Rally Truck built by Prodrive.

Prior to this, The Grand Tour presenter posted a photo of himself standing next to the intimidating-looking truck on his land to Instagram, with many fans keen to find out what was to come from this review. As far as we can tell, while it’s likely that the car could make its way onto a future episode of The Grand Tour, it’s more likely that he has this car simply to review for his written weekly columns.

We wrote a complete article about the BRX Hunter and the reasoning behind its existence, so if you want to learn more, please click or tap here to find out everything you’d want to know.

But here are the main figures…

The engine is a twin-turbo 3.5-litre Ecoboost unit from Ford. It creates 400 horsepower and 500 lb ft of torque which it sends to all four wheels. Designed by Ian Callum of Jaguar F-Type and I-Pace fame, it’s a real looker, and it’s destined to not only be raced by Sebastian Loeb, but the company is also looking for it to be turned into a production car in the future.

Alex Harrington

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
