Jeremy Clarkson’s Blown Up House Is Finally Rebuilt After Grand Tour Demolition
The famous presenter of Clarkson’s Farm, Jeremy Clarkson, has been updating fans on the progress of his house being built over the last year. But while we’ve been enjoying the updates on how his house is coming together, The Grand Tour presenter has been highly stressed according to his latest column.
Calling the new house Diddly Squat Mansion, the presenter admitted that he’d got far too much in his calendar in the week he was supposed to be moving. Not only was he promoting his book as well as The Grand Tour, moving house had left him exhausted.
He also admitted that he’d spent far too much on decorating and fitting the house, including a number of knives and forks sets, plus no less than 70 glass tumblers. He bought so much, that he didn’t think his partner Lisa Hogan would let him get away with it.
He wrote the following:
“We then found several more sets, and at this point I was to be heard from several miles away wondering loudly why we’d bought so many.
“And what we’d been thinking of. And why Lisa hadn’t stopped me, for crying out loud.
“And Lisa was standing there with her hands on her hips explaining that we had started shopping at Peter Jones after a particularly long lunch at the Colbert café.”
He then admitted that he fought a number of times with Lisa over the unpacking in regards to where everything would go.
He continued: “We had a row about that, and then we had another about why the corkscrew had been packed in a random box and not kept separate, because we were definitely going to need it before anything else.”
Despite this, Jeremy is very happy to be finally moving into his new home. At the same time, he’s excited to be promoting the second series of his popular farming show on BBC Radio 2:
“We are filming the second series and we’ve got cows now.
“So I am learning about cows and that’s very difficult.
“They escape, they’re bulging horses!”
He joked: “I caught one of them yesterday on a motorcycle going along the perimeter fence like Steve McQueen.
“They really are escape artists.”
Jeremy is a hoot, I love the Grand Tour, i love Clarkson’s Farm. The man is brilliant and very funny, even when he’s serious, he gas me busting up laughing! Love ya man, Cheers!
