Was Richard Hammond’s Jacket a Tribute to The Shining?
While watching any episode of The Grand Tour, I’ve been enamoured with the game of finding secret clues aka easter eggs the editing team, the hosts or the producers are laying out all over the show.
It could be as obvious the signs that say “Generally Clarkson” or the subtle jabs at Top Gear like the one at the Cenotaph, but the one that I saw today could have no meaning, which is where I’m going to have to ask you for help.
In today’s episode and thanks to the glorious detail of 4k, I noticed Richard Hammond’s jacket (see below) had a striking resemblance with a classic movie you might have seen:

Or maybe Hammond loves patterns of hotel room lobbies since he travels the world so much.
Where was Richard’s tweed jacket & waistcoat from. I love it. ????
