The Grand Tour: Amazon Alexa Reveals Potential Release Date Of Madagascar Special (Updated)

Update: It has been confirmed that The Grand Tour’s next episode will not be released on December 11th as questioned in the following article. We will update you as soon as we know more.

There have been so many rumours regarding the release date of the next episode of The Grand Tour, but now we have one more to add to the pile thanks to Amazon’s Alexa.

The car show, presented by Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May, has been on hold since the Coronavirus Pandemic seemingly held up production and elongated the editing process, but several release dates have been rumoured. The most believable was published by IMDB as a mistake earlier this year, which stated the episode held in Madagascar would be released on September 4th.

This was later confirmed to be a mistake from the company when a PR spokesperson emailed us to confirm that they are yet to choose a release date, but it will be later this year.

Now, Amazon Alexa has started piping up – Amazon’s oracle has spoken. If you ask Alexa, the next episode of The Grand Tour will air on December 11 later this year. And to be honest, this seems quite realistic. It allows Amazon’s current breadwinner The Boys to end, and coincides with the release of Seamen, the previous episode, which was also released at a similar time last year.

Of course, we cannot confirm anything (we’ll believe it when we see it at this pint), but we can secretly hope. Just don’t think about the fact it took almost a year for a single episode.

The Grand Tour is back filming in Scotland with them being spotted in three large American cars hauling modified caravans across the Highlands. We’ll be sure to keep you updated as we find out more about this, but make sure you go and check our recent articles where we explain the details.
